Meet Our Medical Aesthetics Team

Kim Macpherson is a Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Uplifted Medical. With a strong focus on medical aesthetics, facial anatomy and advanced skin rejuvenation, Kim takes a comprehensive approach to aesthetic medicine—combining injectables, energy-based devices and skin health to create individualized treatment plans with natural-looking results.

Kim has pursued advanced education in cosmetic injectables, facial ultrasound, complication management and ultrasound-guided aesthetic procedures, allowing her to incorporate real-time ultrasound into assessment and treatment planning when appropriate. Her practice includes neuromodulators, dermal fillers, biostimulators, therapeutic neuromodulator treatments, facial ultrasound and advanced technologies including Fotona laser and Sylfirm X RF microneedling.

Rather than focusing on a single treatment, Kim believes in looking at the face and skin as a whole. Her approach considers facial anatomy, movement, volume, collagen, skin quality and each patient's individual goals to determine which treatments—or combination of treatments—may be most appropriate.

Education and patient involvement are central to Kim's practice. She believes patients should understand their options, the reasoning behind treatment recommendations and what they can realistically expect from treatment.

As owner of Uplifted Medical, Kim is committed to creating a clinic where evidence-informed care, ongoing education, patient safety and thoughtful aesthetic medicine remain at the forefront.

Raven is a Registered Practical Nurse and Medical Aesthetician at Uplifted Medical, combining her nursing knowledge with a background in advanced aesthetics and a passion for skin health.

Her dual training allows her to take a thoughtful, skin-focused approach to advanced facial treatments, considering each client's individual skin concerns, goals and overall skin health when customizing their treatment.

Raven provides Bela MD advanced facials and customized skincare treatments, with a focus on hydration, exfoliation, skin maintenance and helping clients achieve healthy, refreshed skin.

With her warm, individualized approach, Raven enjoys helping clients better understand their skin and creating treatments that are both relaxing and purposeful.

Dawn Chamberlain is a nurse with over 20 years of nursing experience and extensive advanced training in cosmetic injecting.  Dawn Chamberlain earned her certification in medical aesthetics through Seamless Health in 2020.  She is known for her gentle approach to treatment and natural results.  Dawn blends clinical expertise with artistic precision to help her clients look and feel their best.

She was the founder of Dynamic Medical Aesthetics in Smiths Falls and is a welcome addition to our team at Uplifted Medical.

Outside of nursing she is a mother of four and a health & fitness enthusiast.  She is also our resident creator/artist, with a passion for resin.  You will see her creative touches throughout the clinic.
