What is Sylfirmx rf microneedling?
Sylfirm X is an advanced radiofrequency (RF) microneedling system that combines ultra-fine microneedles with controlled radiofrequency energy to target specific layers of the skin. The microneedles create controlled micro-injuries while delivering RF energy beneath the skin’s surface, stimulating the body’s natural healing response and promoting collagen and elastin remodelling.
What makes Sylfirm X unique is its ability to deliver radiofrequency energy using both continuous-wave and pulsed-wave modes. This allows treatment to be customized depending on the skin concern being addressed.
Continuous-wave RF is primarily used for skin rejuvenation concerns such as fine lines, skin laxity, texture and acne scarring, where controlled thermal energy is used to stimulate collagen remodelling.
Pulsed-wave RF delivers energy differently and can be selected when addressing concerns such as redness, uneven pigmentation and certain vascular-related skin concerns.
With adjustable needle depths and treatment settings, Sylfirm X allows us to customize treatment for different areas of the face and body rather than treating every area of the skin in exactly the same way.

Sylfirm X uses tiny microneedles to deliver controlled radiofrequency energy at carefully selected depths beneath the skin’s surface. This creates a targeted healing response within the skin while leaving the surrounding tissue largely unaffected.
The combination of microneedling and RF energy stimulates collagen and elastin remodelling, two important components responsible for the skin’s firmness, structure and elasticity. As the skin repairs and remodels over time, patients may notice improvements in texture, firmness, fine lines, pores and acne scarring.

Concerns about facial fat loss are increasingly common among patients considering RF microneedling. Radiofrequency energy can generate heat within tissue, which makes treatment depth, energy settings, anatomy and technique important considerations when treating the face.
Sylfirm X allows the depth of the microneedles and RF parameters to be adjusted based on the treatment area and the concern being addressed. At Uplifted Medical, we do not use a one-size-fits-all protocol across the entire face. Treatment settings are selected with consideration for skin thickness, underlying anatomy, treatment area and desired clinical endpoint.
When our goal is skin rejuvenation, treatment is directed toward the appropriate layers of the skin to stimulate collagen remodelling—not intentionally toward deeper facial fat.
As with any energy-based procedure, RF microneedling is not without risk. Careful patient assessment, appropriate treatment parameters and an understanding of facial anatomy are important when developing a treatment plan.
What to expect during your sylfirmx appointment
Your Sylfirm X treatment begins with an assessment of your skin, treatment goals and the areas you would like to address. Your treatment settings are then selected based on your skin type, anatomy and individual concerns.

The skin is thoroughly cleansed and a topical numbing cream is applied to improve comfort during the procedure. Once the skin is adequately numbed, the treatment area is prepared and your individualized Sylfirm X settings are selected.
during treatment
The Sylfirm X handpiece is passed systematically over the treatment area, delivering controlled radiofrequency energy through ultra-fine microneedles at carefully selected depths.
Most patients describe the treatment as very manageable with topical numbing. We do have additional pain management options for those who continue to find the treatment painful despite the use of topical numbing.
After Treatment
Immediately following treatment, the skin may appear red, warm or mildly swollen, similar to a sunburn. Post-treatment skincare is applied, and you will receive instructions on caring for your skin while it recovers.
Because the skin barrier is temporarily more sensitive following RF microneedling, following your recommended aftercare and protecting the skin from sun exposure are important parts of the treatment process.
what is the downtime after sylfirmx treatment?
Sylfirm X RF microneedling typically involves relatively minimal downtime, although recovery varies depending on the treatment settings, area treated and your individual skin response.
Immediately after treatment, you may experience redness, warmth and mild swelling. Some patients may also notice temporary sensitivity, dryness, a slightly rough texture or small pinpoint marks as the skin heals.
Most visible redness and swelling improves within the first few days, although mild dryness or texture changes may persist a little longer. More intensive treatments may involve additional recovery time.
During the initial healing period, we recommend gentle skincare, adequate hydration and diligent sun protection. Certain active skincare ingredients should be temporarily avoided while the skin barrier recovers.
You will receive individualized aftercare instructions following your treatment, including guidance on when to resume your regular skincare routine, exercise and makeup.
